Hi folks,
Just a bit of general advice / opinions please;
Will be getting a powder blue tang in the next week or two. My display is ich free - through a process of careful q-tine etc. of all "wet" things. I intend on q-tine for my new PBT also........ I am just a little concerned for this "touchy" fish in a bare q-tine tank.
Its 48"x12"x12". I have a mature internal power filter, that runs all the time, ready to go, in my display's sump. I'm just worried that a 5-6week stint in a q-tine will be a tough time for a PBT. Once in, I will start hypo straight away - once hypo salinity is achieved I'll give him 30 days, bring it back up and then introduce him........
I'm just looking for some moral support here.... some tales of "I did it, he was fine..... you'll be fine.... so will your fish"..... that sort of thing
I'll be getting a "good" one - nice and fat, well fed, pre- quarantined at the wholesaler (TMC) etc. etc........
Thanks,
Matt
