QT filtration and oxygenation

This round in the hobby I try to do it right; TTM and QT prior to DT.

I have cycled the QT along with the DT.
I am not sure (1) what filtration media should be put in the HOB of a QT?
(2) is the water cascading down from the HOB enough for oxygenation?

For my 20 gallon long QT, I have a HOB with the media that it came with minus the carbon, but I have carbon just in case I have to rid medications. For as oxygen, I am running a RW-4. The HOB might be enough depending on what size tank, how many fish, and if you are using medication. For example, using Prazi-Pro, the HOB probably won't be enough for oxygen.

I run a small HoB filter with a seeded sponge from the main, as well as an air stone below the heater in a 10g QT. I also keep a bag of carbon in case.

i prefer ceramic rings as they do not absorb medication/copper etc when dosing to treat.
a regular air stone can help if needed, i have never run one, then again i have a sump on my qt.
