Well after having dealt with ich for the first time I view the hobby a bit differently. I would like to get past this issue and not have a re-occurrence.
The area I am a little concerned with is related to a specimen container I use for dipping water out of my new salt-water mixing tank. I also use it for taking water out of my cupramine treated tank. I also apply this technique with a few 5 gallon buckets although I'm better about having one for new water and one for the take out water. While I don't bleach it I do rinse it in scalding hot water and dry it off. It typically is dry for a day or so before it is used again. Is this process adequate or am I just begging to come down with ich again? I'm 3 weeks into the cupramine treatment and I would hate to think that my poor practices would require my fish to remain in cupramine even longer.
All input is appreciated!!!
