QT question (again)

So I splurged a little at Fragstravaganza..... I bought about 7 frags and a nice big acro colony.

Now I'm waiting to treat them with Fluke Tabs and Interceptor. I don't know the exact volume of the container that I've got them in, but I'm guessing it to be 3-4 gallons. The pic below is the QT setup that I'll have them in. Should this be okay?

My plan is to treat for 5 hours in the Fluke Tab and Interceptor dip and I'm wondering how long to have each medicine and for how long they should be in there. The corals should be okay, because I put a microjet PH in there with a water heater set for 79 degrees. I'm playing it safe :)

I just read the Dorton article on EB's site, and it says to use 25mg per 10g, and that each tablet is enough for 380 gallons. The box says that each tablet is only 23.0mg each. What gives? Do I just use half a tablet then? And for how long? 6-12 hours? I don't want to leave these corals out overnight :/

Nevermind. I just searched and found Chris' discussion with reefsahoy about it and I'm going to follow that. I'm not sure how I'll be able to measure out such a tiny ammount though for 5 gallons if it's 23mg of active ingredient per each pill.

Real quick, does this sound right to everyone? Chris said this:
Yup, Jeff is right. I meant 100 strength to mean 100 strength of a normal tank dosage. So if 1 pill would treat 360 gallon of water my dip would consist of 1 pill in 3.6 gallon of water...or 28% (about a quarter) of a pill in 1 gallon of water.

So I should use 1 pill in that whole tub of acros?
And also how much of the Big Al's Fluke Tabs should I use. It suggests 1 tablet is 500mg but does not say how much chemical there is. They suggest 1 tablet for each 10 agllons for a fish. Should I stay with the same treatment for cloral, so half a tablet for the container?

mkay well i went with 1/2 of each pill. Hope they're okay. I'll do 6ish hours of this. Should I have more or less flow? My minijet isn't putting outmuch flow, so I didn't want to smother the corals, so I put in a MaxiJet 900 pointed up and at the corner, so it airates at the sametime as reducing the flow from it. It's still a lot of flow though.

U r ok- I dip with one large dog pill in a 5 gallon bucket-overdose w/o problems so far, no ph in my case and all is well.good luck and happy reefing
I also do TMPCC after inter for 15-25 mins, and into the tank they go

Thanks bro. I'm gonna leave them in there for a couple more hours. I've been so nervous, and i'm glad that someone finally responded. I've been calling my bro to keep checking the thread and see if anyone says anything :p

I did about 3 hours or so with half a interceptor large dog and half a fluke tab. The corals (hopefully) survived, and I've placed them in my tank for tomorrow's break of daylight. I hope they'll be alright. We will see. I'm so terrible at mounting them on the rock, but they should be in moderately secure locations.

Thanks for your replies

When mounting new frags IC-gel is the best otion IMHO. I do not use epoxy as it gets really hot and cooks them(acutely at least)
Let us know how it goes k

Reefwreak, Could you pass along the articles you were referring to? I'm looking for a start-to-finish dip procedure for the beginner. If there is something similar for fish acclimation, that would be great too.
