QT time questions

I have a yellow tang in a QT tank since sept 17. I treated several rounds of prazi due to black spots and a white "fuzz" near his mouth that showed after he was in QT for about a week, so around sept 24 I started prazi treatment that continued over the course of the next couple weeks.

He's been looking fine since and acting normal. Eats well.

How much longer should I leave him in QT at this point?

QT time starts once all treatment is done. So if you just finished all meds and they are healthy, QT time then starts.

ok so then QT time technically would have started october 12.

It's been about 5-6 weeks since treatment was finished

what is the general consensus on how long to leave a fish in QT ?

that's shortest time as possible, I think you're good

I would strongly recommend 72 days, anything less increases the risk of the fish still carrying a disease.

Average would be 4-5 weeks in QT when treatment is finished.
