Sic rock!

Sic rock!

I also purchased live rock from them (after a dissapointing order from Live Aquaria) and I LOVED it!
I asked for various sizes and shapes in the comments section and I got it! I really couldn't decide which to put on the bottom or behind others they were so pretty! I had a couple of hitchhikers on there so make sure you take a look on them when you get it.
Otherwise, it was like opening a bunch of presents on your birthday! (they were individually wrapped)

Hey sugartooth,

Congrats on the sick rock! What type of rock did you purchase? I'm going to be ordering Marshall Island LR for my 55 gal later this week.

Hi Capt. Nemo,
Sorry, I only just realized you asked a question here.
I ordered the Marshall Island Rock and Kaelini (sp?) Cured Rock. Both were great! Very pretty colors. Marshall was more "bubbly" looking and smoother than Kaelini. Lots of interesting shapes from Kaeolini! I ordered just about 1:1 ratio. Good luck, hope you like yours!

joroscoe & sugartooth:

How are the rocks after almost a month now? Are you getting better color and any large die-off during the past couple of weeks? Any recent pictures? I would greatly appreciated if you can post some pictures.

TIA!

Hi!
So far I love it. I haven't noticed too much die off, if any, believe it or not. I happen to live close enough to have had it shipped overnight truck.
When I rinsed it after I received it, the water didn't seem any more cloudy than if I took some bottom rock out of my own tank and rinsed it off. We will be building an in-wall tank in September and can't wait to order more.

I will work on getting pictures of the current rock...

I got a picture of one of them. The others are jammed with corals right now. WHen I move in September I can probably document them better. I have had this rock for about 1 month.

Thanks Flame....That was one of the Kaelini rock I got in with the Marshall Island. I can't wait to see what happens in the next couple of months.
