I've had my 180 gallon set up and running for approximately 5 months now. I have quarantined all fish for at least 21 days prior to introducing them to the display tank. Somehow, however, my yellow longnose butterflyfish just had a couple spots of Ich show up on his pectoral fins after my newest addition to the tank was added! There is absolutely no way I can remove all fish and leave it fallow for 6-10 weeks because a.) there are several small gobies I'd never be able to trap without dismantling the entire tank, and b.) my quarantine is only 40 gallons.
At this point is there any other way to rid ich from my tank? I have a clean up crew, a couple cleaner shrimp, and 4 LPS corals. I've considered removing the corals and as much of the clean up crew as possible and treating the tank with paraguard. Would this work or I should I just let it be and hope it doesn't become more of a problem?
*Also I wonder how important quarantining future fish is if there is already ich in the DT?
