Quarantine tamarin wrasse??

Hey guys, got a red tailed tamarin wrasse coming in tuesday and just wondering if its worth quarantining it?
I know they aren't very hardy so am wary about doing this, but its eating prepared foods already.
Is going into a 30 gal quarantine and then my 75 gal. What do you think?

I have qt a red and 2 blue spots- first time I used sand in a bowl and it was a yucky nightmare - I did tank transfer - did the same protocol per sticky and then added cookie sheets to cover up the 20g and kept a towel over the tank to keep them in the dark until my DT lights came on then towel off - DT lights off towel on-

Though it may help them sync up with my time -

They all ate mysis from the go sooo

I would find out the salinty/Sg of the shipping water and match ur qt to it/ then temp acclimate and straight in

Oh okay, so you think lessening stress will help out loads so should black out the QT when lights are out?

And sand in the quarantine is a must then?

Of course. I would never introduce any fish into my DT system that wasn't properly quarantined. This should never be a question. FWIW; a properly set up QT is the safest and least stressful place a touchy fish will ever see. I don't understand all the posts that suggest the opposite.

And for sensitive fish it is even more essential. While a proper quarantine protocol will keep your embedded base of fish safe from disease and parasites, it will also allow sensitive fish to strengthen their eating response in a safe and hospitable environment. Immediate introduction into a community tank means competition for food, "lodging"/territory, and may result in intimidation that will keep the fish from acclimation.
 
Quarantine everything don't pick and choose. Also for my coris wrasse I placed a tub w/ about 3" sand in qt and he loved it.
 
It will take many years to reach it's full adult size. It will be fine in a 6' tank for quite a while, but you might need a larger tank someday if he/she exceeds a foot in length.
