Quarantine tank questions

I will be setting up a IM 40 shortly, once stand is complete. I've been ready a lot of post about QT. are there anyother options to protect DT without one? with AZ getting so warm durning summer how does one keep a small QT at right temp. Anyother advise would be great.

I have a 40B setup for my fish QT. With so little equipment getting too hot is not an issue.

36in florescent for light
Aquaclear HOB for filter
inkbird and heater for temp control
air pump for added O2
and a RW-15 for flow

All my coral gets QT'd in my 24 gal biocube. It is home to my smithii mantis. I just put a frag rack towards the right side and the mantis likes the shadow it provides and mostly hangs out under it. After 30 or so days in QT I then move it to my display. Also do bayer dips going in and out just in case. This has been very handy in being able to house coral while the main infestation dies off in the display.

I have a 40 gallon I am using for a QT. It has an Aquaclear HOB filter. I use 2 airstones in it for aeration. I use a mesh top, and honestly have never had the tank get over 82 in my house. I do have a small heater in it as well.

I keep an ammonia badge in it, and do frequent, medicated water changes. All fish go through 30 days coppersafe and 2 doses of prazipro.

I have not been QTing corals, although I am wondering if that might not be a good idea.
