Quarantine Tank setup

I need to setup one up because my clownfish are infected. I am not sure what, but I have a 20 gallon that is empty. What should the setup of the tank be? I have a heater for it also.

I am going to run cupramine. I believe to have ick. Not really sure because this is my first disease. Only the clownfish are infected. Other fish our chalk baslet and green chromis.

Should I run the DT empty for 72 days to kill whatever is their?

Please help. Only new addition was corals. But something is stressing them out. All tank parameters are good.

can you post pics of your fish and describe any unusual behavior (flashing, white spots, heavy breathing, etc.)?

if all of these fish are in your display tank, they will all have to be quarantined and yes, your tank needs to be empty of fish for 72 days.

all you need in your qt is a heater, air stone, an ammonia alert badge and maybe a small hob filter. i don't use a filter in mine, just the air stone for water movement and aeration.

do a search of "tank transfer method" and read up on that. it's the only way to eradicate ich as close to 100% as you can.

He sleeps in a long tentacle anemone. When I left for work this morning. He was not in it but swimming around. Heavy breathing with white spots on him.
Hopefully he will be able to survive the day.

I will just need to get an air stone to complete the set up.

kiss rule. Watch your ammonia. Try and put something like large diameter pvc or piece of rock you can leave with the tank for the fish to take shelter.

Sadly he did not make it. Female is still alive. Should I do daily water changes or only we needed?

It died that fast? If so it's not ich. Timeline is more like velvet. The other clown doesn't have much longer. You need to treat immediately.
