Quarantining a Cleaner Wrasse

I was wondering how people go around quarantining a cleaner wrasse before adding it to the DT, or if the quarantine process is skipped altogether with this fish? The main reason I'm asking this is because it will be the only fish in quarantine, therefore will not be able to get food from cleaning other fish.

Both my cleaner wrasse eat brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, sheets of nori and various flake foods. In my opinion there main diet is not from cleaning other fish but rather its a service they provide

I agree I've had mine close to a year and he went through copper and tank transfer method. Both of those were following ich outbreaks in my main tank due to not previously using a QT. He eats like a pig and is one of my most friendly fish. But he is not a hunter at all, only eats out of the water column really.

IMO the key to success is A: Finding a strong fish in the first place B: Feeding multiple times per day.

If you cant feed him 3 or 4 times a day (if not more) then it is not a good fish for you to try.

No qt until they are eating pellets
Currently I am Doing hyposalinity with My cleaner wrasse of almost 3 years along with other fish.
My last one also last very long until Velvet struck I have greater success with them than large angel

Thanks for the advice. I currently feed my reef five times a day so should hopefully fit in well, and i will make sure I pick up a good one which is eating well :)
