Queen angel fins.

There appears to be something wrong with the fins of my Queen Angel. It's been in the tank for about 2 weeks now and seems to be ok. I have a coral beauty too (trying to catch him to get him out as don't want him in there anymore) who doesn't actually attack, but warns off now and again.

Doesn't his looks like disease or war wounds?

Any advice on a treatment in the UK? And would I have to remove her from the tank? I do have two small QT tanks in the garage if needed.

There are some medications that are reef safe. But if you have QT tanks I would use those. Recommendations on what to use... There are several, furan, melafix, etc. I would wait on someone else to give a better advice on those

Kanaplex or furan 2 will treat fin rot. Definitely treat in a qt.

I was already sick, the fin rot was a symptom so maybe something more severe was also happening.

No she was eating fine. Swimming about ok. The coral beauty seemed to put her in her place a few times but not actually attack her.
