I recently got a good size frag of blue tip acro. I kept it near the bottom of the tank so as not to go into light shock. The tank is 24" deep (90 gal.) with 2 radion x30's set at around 60% during its daily maximum.
After 3 weeks the coral is browing quite a bit. Should I move it higher to increase light intensity? Will the browning clear up?
My nitrates are stable at 5 ppm. I dose 2 part and nopox. My alk. is stable between 9 to 10 dkh. and phosphate is stable around 0.08 ppm.
I have a few other sps. coral but I am a relative newbie to this type.
