Question about BTAs & Zoanthids together

Was wondering if anemones & zoanthids are compatable in a tank together?

I currently have a 90 gallon with mostly softies, zoanthids, and 3 BTAs (it was 2, but one split a few weeks ago) The anemones dont move around and appear very happy and growing well, but because of them, I can't really add any more corals to the tank! They're really large and are taking up a lot of real estate.

Because of this, I have a 65 gallon that I'm going to set up up as an anemone tank. Would it be ok to add some zoanthids to that tank to add small splashes of color?

In the 90 gallon, one of the anemones currently brushes against some rather ugly looking zoas but they dont seem to be affected by it at all, nor does the anemone seem to care. Is this generally true of all zoas and BTAs?

mm.. not really. lol as my bta keeps getting bigger and bigger, it has stretched its tenicles to a shelf that has 3 different zoa's on it...

the pink ones died, now its rubbing my black and white ones. right now they are just closing up and looking upset... (this just started today actually with these ones) they are on a frag stone so im going to just move them

but.. my gosh this bta is getting huge!!!!

the bta isent effected at all by them.

Bleh, maybe those ugly zoas are just stubborn and refuse to let anything bother them. So no zoas in the anemone tank.

And ugh, I just looked at the anemones in the 90, and I swear it looks like one of em may be about to split again! The mouth looks stretched out and I swear I can see rock through it! It split a couple of weeks ago and has grown to about the size it was before it split...I may come home to 4 anemones in the tank tonight! Its all happy looking and fully inflated...maybe that side is just deflated and I'm seeing rock near the mouth because of that, I hope. I cant see everything on that side cause its in the rocks. Tthe new tank wont be ready for I'm guessing at least 2 months!

At this rate, that anemone that started out as a bleached & tiny thing about 2 inches across back in November will fill my new anemone tank by Christmas!

hm. well maybe put the anemones in the new tank first and let them get settles in. then add zoas a month or two later. they just wont grow around the anemones reaching area.

as for seeing rovk thru the anemone and all that stuff.. stop it. your making me worry lol

Ive never seen a bta split before, but mine is almost 10 inches across right now, and it shifted in the past two days and it looks like somthing is going on...

Ill be out of town for 5 days starting tomorrow... so it woiuld make sence. my tank will do anything to freak out my tank sitter lol
