question about buying online?

Well my wifes cousin without my prior knowledge went ahead and ordered some rock from FLLR. it was some Tonga branch, not to bad looking but came sorta dead from what he had described the smell. So just shot in the dark, he is going to order his CUC from them. He got this josh guys recommendation, which was way off IMO. had something like total 60 some odd hermits, 70ish snails, those blue sea slugs, some blue spot hare, 2 algae blennys, 3 cleaner shrimp, 2 peppermint shrimp, 2 sally light foot crab, 2 emerald, long spin urchin, tiger cuc and prolly some more that i forgot. All for a 65g red sea that doesn't have anything but rock in it. So we refined the list to what i though was sufficient for now and we'll see how stuff comes in and what the cost is..

Wow I think that Josh guy was WAY overselling a CUC for your friend. You could probably take about a 10th of that and be fine even for a fully stocked 65gal. Hopefully your order comes out ok. Let us here know what it's like

I would NOT purchase ANYTHING from JOSH GOODMAN at FINGER LAKES LIVE ROCK, in Geneva/Ovid, NY.....he took advantage of us and our business check book. Cashed a check after canceling an order....and said he tore it up....DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS MAN OR HIS COMPANY!!!!

I had a pending transaction with them for live rock and when the sale was in the final steps their terms and prices changed to benefit them, so I declined the sale and havent even thought of checking them out again.

After many phone calls asking where my fish I was promised for 5 months were I finally took it to the BBB and I still have not received my full refund off $200+ dollars I am owed. He sends you straight to voicemail so he doesn't have to deal with talking to you. His name is Josh and is a lowlife who preys on people with his "cheap" prices you are better off going to the salt water store in your local area and getting the fish you want because how is it a cheap fish when you pay and NEVER get it! He gets nasty on the phone and gets a smart attitude when you try to talk to him about refunding YOUR money he acts like its his money that he is giving you back. 1/2 of the fish I got from him died within days of getting them and he wont refund or replace for you! Do NOT trust him he will take your money and run! He is from Geneva NY. If you have prior problems get onto the Better Buisness Buerau website and report him you have to have his phone number and Josh Goodman because he has it set up so its harder to find him and it wont pull up with Finger Lakes Live Rock. Good luck if you purchased from him!
