Question about heat from my new Gen-x pump

Just bought a new Gen-x PCX 55 high head. I was just wandering if anyone has this pump because mine runs fairly hot. I am not sure if there is something wrong with it or do they all run fairly warm. Thanks.

Mine does the same thing, runs hot to the touch.

I have a pcx-40 and it also runs hot to the touch, along with being loud. It is a normal occurance I think
