Question about lights?

How stupid would a 6 ft tank look with 1 250 watt metal halide over the center of tank and the rest 600+ vho?

cant see it from my house

what ever lighting you use is up to you what ever makes you happy

lot of light in the middle and not bright on the sides

Ok, next question: does anyone have a used 250w retro laying around? I just want to test MH on my tank, see how it looks.

I had the 125 set up that way except I used a single DE 250 watt in the center and 2-39 watt T5's on each side. The VHO's should work out nicely. The halide was in the center over the sps and the T5's on the ends over the softies.
