Question about magnets on the new 6205

Roger, I just pre-ordered 4 of the new 6205s. Could you tell me if the exterior magnets can be used under water? My tank has a coast to coast external overflow - if I need to use a 6205 along the back of the tank, the exterior magnet would be under water. Is this allowable. I guess what I'm asking is - are the exterior magnets sealed.

Tom, both magnet can be use under water... The external magnet is the same with the internal...

Just be careful, the 6205 magnet is rediculously strong, we got a sample and it will easily stick through 1" which is what it is rated for, be very careful installing the holder.

Thanks for the advice, Roger. The glass on my back pane is 3/4" - plus there is a piece of 3/16" acrylic bonded to it, so the extra strength of the magnet should come in handy.
