Question about maroon larva

I have about 20-30 maroon clownfish larva in a 25gal tank, now they are about 2 month old, and fight each other furiously all days, some small larva dead by fighting... how could I do for this ? It is too difficult to isolate all of these larva in the individual tank... how the aqua farm solve this problem ?

Thanks :-)

I stopped breading Premnas because the fighting causes not only losses but also permanent damage (i.e. gill cover plates) and as these little buggers spend more time in fighting instead in feeding they even grow to slow. Mine never stopped fighting ..

Have heard two suggestions for this problem, don´t know if they apply to marrons. #1 Pack them. Denser tanks diminish aggression toward one specific individual. #2 Put an older/larger marroon together with them. This one will most probably be the dominant and aggression to stabilish dominance may be not that necessary for the others.

IME it really matters which maroons you have, gold striped or white stripe. Like Peter I got rid of my white stripe pairs because they don't just damage each other, they flat out KILL each other. I had TWO survive to market size from a group of 60-70, they methodically killed off every other fish in the tank. Just when I thought I could call them a "pair" the big one turned on the smaller and killed it, so ONE fish made it to adulthood.

GSM's on the other hand are easier. Yes they fight and you will get some torn fins but they heal quickly and you can sell them. You might have more culls than you would with other species though. Packing them is a good trick, your 25 is waaaay too big for a couple dozen 2 month maroons.

A few months ago I learned that rasing tomato clowns with ocellaris mixed in really cuts down on the aggression. I have no clue why but maybe it's just confusing or distracting to them. I finally have gsm's again so I am trying it out, growing them out in mixed bag tanks with o's, tomatos and mollies. They are still young, time will tell if this works.

Well, two month old fish are not larvae!:) .Larval stage ends with metamorphosis...
I agree with Aomont #2.IME a tankful of WSM juveniles didn´t show more aggression than tomatos or clarkiis.

Thanks everyone ... my juveniles(thanks Luis, my english is not so good ^_^) is GSM, I will try some solutions here in future, here is the photo of the GSM juveniles(mixed with some Amphiprion percula juveniles).

They have to be packed in fairly dense. If I don't get 200+ out of a hatch to put in a 10, the batch is basically a write off.

The parents is normal without band missing, I think it cause by water quality and food quality or something like this...
