Question about PROP

I'm familiar with the frag swaps that my TX club (DFWMAS) has and how we sell & package frags. This is my 1st time for AZ Frag's PROP & I don't know what to expect or what is expected of me. I just noticed on the post for PROP it says bring buckets. Don't sellers have bags or small container for frags? If not I can bring my own & of course my cooler. I've never been to a coral auction, how does it work? Is it like an Estate type auction? Is there anything else, other than cash that I need to bring? Thanks for any helpful info anyone can give me. My 12 year old grandson's coming with me to control my buying!!!

The corals will be in individual containers. When you get there go to the guys with the computer up front. They will give you a bidder number and card. When a coral comes up that you want you hold your card up. The auctioneer will keep raising the price until only 1 person is left holding there card up. You'll catch on quick how it works. Just make sure you're there early to get your bidder number.

Sellers will bring their corals in individual containers, most use Styrofoam cups. The "bring buckets" statement was more figurative based off the large number of corals for sale. Bringing a cooler to carry your Styrofoam cups in is a wise idea, however.

We'll go through the list one coral at a time; price is raised in $1 increments until one interested buyer remains, then they win at that price. It's a simple and fairly fast format; don't be too worried. The rules will quickly be covered before the auction begins.

Just write the corals you want to bid for down and the max you will spend and when its announced hold your card up for your reasonable price and put your card down if its exceeded the amount your willing to spend.
