Question about the Raffle?

So this is going to be a first meeting for me and a friend that is coming with me, I know that you have to be a member for the raffle, but how does it work? Should I bring some extra cash or is that covered by membership dues? Sorry if its a dumb question.. But its a need to know type thing and I cant find any info about it....

Bring extra cash!!!!!!! Your membership will put you in for a membership raffle drawing but all other raffle items will cost you extra.

Thats up to you but I usually buy $20 worth of raffle tickets. Spend more and your odds get better!!!!!!!!

ok so how does it work? is it like a buck a ticket or like 5 or what?

its been awhile but I think the more you buy the more you get.

$1 each 6 for $5 type thing. (not totally sure though)

the member raffle is usually a dry good and the buy a ticket raffle is a chinese raffle with a bucket in front of each item that you put one or more tickets in what you might want to win. which is really cool.... that way you don't win an sps if your not set up for them.

they usually have corals and fish too

each item has a cup in front of it if you like that item you can put as many tickest in that cup as you want that way you dont win any thing you cant use in you system

You dont have to be a member to get into the raffle only to get in on the membership raffle.Both of you can come as guest and see if you like the whole meeting thing before you join,unless you know forsure that you want to be a member.This is my 2nd year and I enjoy it.
