Question about use of ROWAphos

Can you use this product in media bags? I don't have a reactor and am looking to make a change from Bulk Reef's GFO. Thanks.

You can use in a media bag...it wont be quite as effective...but you can use it all the same. Out of curiosity...why go to Rowa from BRS GFO?

I think I may have a silicate problem with my ro/di unit as I sometimes see slight diatom blooms after a water change. I am running a 3 stage air water and ice mighty might, not the best unit but I get 0 tds. Just curious to see if rowa is a better remover of silicates. I don't think that silicates can be measured with a tds meter.
