Question about Wyoming Whites

Hey folks! I recently purchased 2 Wyoming Whites that came from Sustainable Aquatics and they are a couple of pretty incredible specimens. They are identical in every way and are a proven breeding pair. I intend to raise the babies once they start spawning in my own tank, but I have a question: What kinds of babies will they produce?

I have no idea if these can be traced back to the C-Quest line or not, but I did a quick Google search and found that most WW pairs don't produce a very high percentage of pure WW babies. I'm totally okay with that, seeing as my LFS needs a local clownfish breeder no matter what kinds of babies my WW's might produce. However, the LFS owner gave me a steal of a price on the pair hoping I'd be able to produce lots more pure WW's.

But does anyone here have any knowledge on the matter or experience breeding WW's? Some people say they will produce picasso's, DaVinci's, regular Ocellaris, fancy whites, and snowflakes. I'd be fine with 5% WW's if I got all those kinds of clownfish in my future clutches!

Here's an awful picture of the pair I took at the LFS today. I won't be taking them home for a couple weeks. BTW, they're a lot bigger than they look in the pic:

About LFS buying clowns, you can saturated the local market pretty quick. It is really hard to get rid of clown babies. They want the babies so cheap (cheaper than they can buy on the market) and so few of them that don't ever think you can get profit from raising clowns. If you love it go ahead, if you want the experience, go ahead but if you want to make money from doing it you will be disappointed big time.

Thanks for your input! I've seen that comment a lot lately on many forums. Another question: Is ibluewater's website up to date? Are people seriously buying WW pairs for such a high price?

:uhoh2: That and most online vender is a joke when it come to designer clowfish, average WyoW is $30-50. I don"t buy small juvenile clownfish as they stress easily when transfer to new tank and most of the time they won't eat for awhile, they prone to parasite like brooks but once you can get it to survive through that they will be pretty hardy. I tend to find a larger like 2"+ have a lot better chance to survive .
