question and a pic: squamosa and derasa in my reef

My squamosa next to _ShotgunShrimps_ derasa {I'm temporarily holding for him}. In addition to sharing this pic with you clam lovers, I wondered if anybody here has seen such a thing as a bright purple clam. {Most likely a crocea, or possibly a maxima.} Is there such a thing? Does anyone have one? Where can I get one? THANKS!

Bright purple?? You can find many bright purples...

Of course the best place I'd reccomend looking is at clamsdirect.com

Of course, the color may shift... What appears from the top may be purple, from the side blue.. Or vica-a-versa.
