Question for hobbyists re: Mr. Aqua aquariums

Greetings fellow reefers!

We recently began selling Mr. Aqua aquariums and they've quickly become quite popular. We had a couple on display at Reef-A-Palooza and they were a hit!

Presently we sell two shapes: a bow front (3 to 13.3 gallons, $22.49 to $62.09 each) and a rectangle (11.4 to 48 gallons, $46.79 to $292.49 each).

Due to the high quality, low price and popularity, we are considering requesting a cube shape. Dimensions-wise we are thinking 16" x 16" and 20" x 20".

We want to you know what you think! What sizes (or shapes) might you buy if you were in the market for a frameless cube aquarium? You can tell us in inches or gallons.

Your opinions will directly influence our decision-making so we genuinely appreciate your time and candor. Thank you!

I'll likely be taking the plunge on the 33.6 (24x18x18) as I feel those are very nice dimensions. I'm not sure about what other shapes would be popular, but you may want to consider some rectangular tanks in between the 12 to 34 gallon range. You probably couldn't go wrong if you more or less duplicate the dimensions of the ADA tanks...as they make an 18g and a 25g (20" cube) both with stellar dimensions. I would also strongly consider some tanks that are more shallow in overall perspective...36x24x16-18h or 24x24x16-18h would be very popular

Overall, I think you've found a good product that will have high demand...if only there were a way to offset that high shipping cost by making the tank a part of a "free shipping with orders over $X" package. I think you'd get a lot of takers at $400 or $500 as these tanks just scream for high end components like the vortech and sleek lighting. Just my $.02, cheers.

I would do the 16" 20" and 30"

I saw those on your website and they looked awsome. Real clean look and very reasonable prices. I am definitely going to buy one of the rectangle ones. And if you do square ones I would also.

Don't know if they're tempered but here's the one I got a few months back. It's been in a dry start for about 3 weeks now.

Nicely built tank.
