Question for Roger from Tunze about the model 9002

Roger, I am considering replacing the skimmer that came with my Solana with the Tunze model 9002. I have a few questions:

What is the minimum and maximum water level needed to operate the skimmer?

Does the water height fluctuation (as long is it is within the min. and max. level) effect the skimmers operation? I am placing this in chamber #2 which does fluctuate a little from evaporation.

Are there any suggestions you have in regards to the operation of this skimmer?

The water level can range from 7-8.5" about, ideally it is fairly constant at about 8". Small/slow fluctuations won't have much effect but a sudden change of about 1/2" can either stop skimming or result in a foam over. Ideally I would use it with an auto top off system.
