Question from a newbie about LTA.

Down the road I would like to add an anemone to my tank, I've been looking at long tentacles. I've been looking on DD and they have long tentacle/Macrodactyla doreensis and a purple tip marble anemone/Macrodactyla cf. doreensis. Question is what is the differance? Is the care the same and all that? Just wonder cause I would like one of the two. Just if anyone is wonder I have a 75gal, SWC 160 cone, ATI sunpower 48" 6 bulb, and the tank has been running for about 8 months. I'll probably wait till the one year mark before I get one but is my setup going to cut it?

Thanks,
Will

p.s.
I'm sorry for all the questions just a lot to learn and all.

I've never heard of CF Doreensis myself, not sure what that is, but you should be fine w/ a regular M. doreensis w/ that setup, even now really.
I've seen some LTA's have a marbled disc, I wonder if that is what the CF label is, though I have no idea what that would stand for.

That's what I thought, my pink had a marbled disc like that, just never heard the CF as part of scientific name, have you Todd?

The abbreviation "cf." is used when the identification is not confirmed.
For example "Corvus cf. splendens" indicates "a bird similar to the House Crow but not certainly identified as this species".

Very cool, just so I'm 100% here... they believe that nem to be an LTA (Macrodactyla doreensis) but are unsure so they use the "cf." designation to show this?

Thanks Gary.
So mine had that marbled disc, and I've seen a few others.
They seem to fit the ID for LTA/M.doreensis, but maybe they don't want to claim it's some sort of variant not completely ID'd as an LTA variant?
Either way, they look nice, and similar needs, pretty much exactly as M.doreensis other than marbled disc, just seem to draw a few more bucks.

This was my pink w/ marbled disc, and you can see the typical corkscrew tents as well as the red foot.(just intro'd)
It's one of 3 LTA's I lost at one silverside feeding.(and why I no longer use silvers)
