question on green carpet

i was wondering does the carpet like to move a lot and how much flow do they like

Depends what type of carpet you are talking about as there are 3 distinct types of clown hosting carpet anemones. In general the S. Giganteas like more current and stronger lighting than your S. Haddoni. I have never owned a mertens but I can speculate that it's needs are similar to a gigantea's. So, they all like current but their needs for it vary a little from species to species.

I have 2 Haddoni carpets,that haven't moved since being added to the tank(approx 2 years).They did wander for about 2 days when first added,but once they found a suitable area-they stayed put.It just so happened,that they both decided to reside side by side.Mine are in fairly high random flow.HTH

i have a haddoni green carpet and i actually havent seen it move since it went in my powerhead's flow. do they like medium to strong flow?

My blue stayed put when i put her in the tank. I dug a sm hole and put more sand around her foot and the kext morning i could see the foot on the bottom of the tank!
