Question on the Newest Maxspect Razor LED Models

Do the power cord connectors going into the fixture still run extremely hot? Before I plan on buying this newest model like to know if they are still running a smaller gauge wire that prematurely fails?

Nope i love my razor fixture . the fixture keeps super cool.

This applies to people running both channels near 80 to 100 percent. I'm talking about the actual power cord heating up from fixture side to the disconnect connector.

NO replies kind of answers my question very skeptical this will happen again. In less then two years my original Razor has had a failed driver board and developed a short in the power cord connector side not impressed! Maybe its just a uncommon problem.

I've been running the 160w model for the past 10 months and my wires are never hot.

I run two 160s set on a-80, b-100 for 4 hours. Doesn't get hot. And when it gets warm the fans cut on.

My wires are also not hot, even when running at 100% (I cranked it up just to test)...I am using the 16k model though.

Has anyone upgraded their Maxspect Razor to the new LEDs if so where did you get the kit? Are you happy with the light with the new leds - did it change amount of heat given off.
