question on wavebox/tank design

I am still finishing up my design for my ~480g reef tank and would like to know if this works. I would use a tunze wave box with an extension and hope that the diagonal motion will work. The 2 wave boxes will be located within the overflow. Please let me know what you all think and if this will work out as far as efficiency and overflow noise are concerned.

The tank will have 3" teeth on the overflow and is 30" tall so the wave boxes will be in the top half of the tank. Each of the 4 side is 60" btw.

Thanks for any help guys.

I don't see that working well and given the expense I would advise against trying it.

The wavebox works on the principal of resonance frequency, the wave energy builds because the first wave is returning and colliding with second and so on and the frequency has to sync up perfectly for this to happen. The corner will deflect the energy and while it may be possible to get a wave it will be short and frankly not provide the sort of flow you are paying for.
