Question regarding moving large tank n livestock

Everyone knows my story. I lost everything trying to move my tank in one day.

Even if you have a crew it still took us all day. Ive moved this tank twice and will never do it again in one day.

Best to get a holding tank, set up some lights, heaters, and flow. Get it really stable, and then take your time moving the tank.

Take your time cleaning and repairing the equipment. Gluing the rocks together, mixing quality water and then leak test it for a week or two.

I went with AA... yes I know acrylic... I love glass tanks... I love CD/Leemar tanks.. I think most of my reef tanks were made by them... but build time on glass manufactures are pushed out to months... Also i feel a bit more comfortable not having to worry about seams failing at some point especially with larger tanks...

The only drawback with acrylic is how easy the scratch... just something i'll have to live with =/

How's ur tank going!??

You know what they say about scratches..."once you fill it up with water you can't see anything!"

Lol

These last few weeks have been insane... with the move and the tank setup.... but I'm almost there... tank move was successful no casualties... but a lot of unplanned fragging happened...

Have everything up and running just have to do cleaning up and attempt some sore of wire management..
