Questions about going bare bottom.

Recently started up my 5g pico and decided to go bare bottom. Was wondering what do you guys normally do with algae growing on the bottom glass?

tagging along. FYI, I placed a piece of black starboard on the bottom glass and siliconed it in place.

It's my first BB also, but I would think that towards the beginning it'd be pretty easy to just brush any algae off the bottom and then as it gets covered in coraline, you let it go.

Eventually regardless of color. Isn't it going to entrust with coraline algae?

I've had all my tanks BB with no problem and very healthy corals. Algae doesn't really grow on the bottom glass at least for me it didn't I mostly had coralline

I see, I meant like having to scrape the glass with a magnet, but I cant use the magnet for the bottom glass. Should I just leave it be?

I use to scrape the bottom glass with a scraper to keep it clean no need for a magnet.
