i know this has been asked b4 but here goes....i jus tbought a crocea and i have a standard 55 gal tank. he is all the way on the bottom on the sand bed and my halides are 10-12 in ABOVE the tank, they are though duall 250 watt 10k's. croceas are sand dwelling am i correct?? not rock dwelling.

Leave the clam in the sand bed for a couple of weeks. put a small piece of flat rock under the clam so it can start attaching to the rock. After your clam has attached to the rock, move it up to the rocks slowly, this will allow the clam time to acclimate to your light. If you would have put her up on the rocks right away it will hurt it. Imaging going out into the sunny outside after having your pupils dilated from the optomotrist...
