quick easy question

my friend found a mantis in some of his new rock, he "says" its smasher and about 2 inchs in length. would i be able to keep it in a nanocube6 gal? (depending on what type of curse..) like are there some that can live within a tank with those spec's?

i asked him to see if he could find a picture online.

Where did the live rock come from? And some you can keep in smaller tanks, some require larger ones.

It depends on mantis size. I'll assume for the sake of rgument that it is tampa bay saltwater live rock. Then it is a N. wennerae and that tank will be fine for its whole llife. Otherwise anything 3" and under will GENERALLY do fine in a 6 gallon, but some mantis shrimp need larger territories even if they are small.
