quick is this a good tds meter question

i like how the 2 i showed dont have to be in the line of the ro. i want to be able to test any water. so would one of those be good you think?

Flow, Calcium/Alk/PH/mg. Those are your most likely culprits.
 
well i still need a tds meter. i have good flow but ordered another mj1200. cal 420, waiting on alk test. ph is normal. i dont have a magn test kit...

any idea if those dip in tds meters are ok>
 
I used the first one you pictured for almost 10 years before switching to a HM Digital COM-100. It was a good meter and served me well but I wanted something more accurate and more sensitive at the lower levels like RO and DI. I have two of the dual inline meters too but much prefer the handheld for accuracy.
