quick question about biocube lighting

I dont know by experience, but foster and smith's site says 12-24 months. I'd go 10-12 months though if i were you.

I hear every 8 - 10 months...I just did mine after almost exactly one year and you can really tell the difference! I am glad I did one at a time as I think it would have been a shock to my system....

FYI, I went with the PC-R bulbs from UVL and they are fantastic...Supposedly you get between 30% and 50% more light because of the built in reflectors!

It all depends on what you are doing. If all you have is fish in the tank then just replace them either when they burn out, or when you start getting a lot of nuisance algae that you just can't figure out where its coming from.

If you've got coral in the tank you might consider upgrading the lights to something new all together because PC bulbs don't put out near enough par for almost anything IMO. Standard for replacing PC bulbs should be somewhere between 10 - 12 months though.
