Quick Question about Programming a Ranco Contoller

What do you guys input for your differential?

I have H1 keeping on my heater until it hits 79 with a differential of 1, so it turns off until tank cools to 78 and then turns back on.

I have H2 keeping on my HID lights until it hits 83 then it turns them off with a differential of 3, so it stays off until tank cools to 80 and then turns back on.

How does this sound? Am I programming this correctly? (I have no chiller)

I keep mine at 1
Heat on at 78
Heat off at 79
Nothing runs at 80
Fans on at 81
