Quick question about snails/hermits

My tank has been running for almost 8 weeks. All I have in the tank is 1 Blue Damsel. (added a week ago) I would like to get some Inverts to help out with the algae/sand bed. My LFS has issues with it being such a new tank and will not sell any snails/hermits. Here is some info on my tank:

90g
55g sump
20+g Fuge w/Chaeto & LR
130 lbs LR
100 + lbs sand

NO3- less then 12.5 (tetra test kit, lowest it will go is 12.5, then 0) new test kit is on its way (salifert)
PO4- 0
Ca- 390
PH- 8.18 - 8.21
Sal.- 1.025
Temp.- 77.4 - 77.9 (over 24hr)

What do you think.. am I ok for snails/hermits?

I think your tank is ready for some snails/crabs

It is hard dealing with a LFS that is a little --- (old school) she insists on cycling a tank with fish... which I didn't and will not (I used the uncured LR)....I know reef tanks take time and patience,, but I would like to get it going a little!! That and the other closest LFS is around 2 hrs. away!!
