In Scott Michael's book he lists Stichodactyla mertensii as a primary host for Amphiprion percula and I was wondering if this was accurate or a meer oversight.
According to Fautin and Allen, percula isn't a natural symbiont with mertensii. Ocellaris is (along with numerous other clownfish species) but not percula
Yeah that's what I've always read and that's why I posted that question. Scott Michael is usually a really good source of information, and he also lists it as a primary host in the book which I assume indicates it is preferred over other natural symbionts.
