Quick TDS Question

I'm not sure I understand the question. Usually, TDS is used to measure the quality of RO-DI output. For saltwater, we tend to use SG, salinity, or conductivity. I use conductivity, personally, and target 53 ms @ 25C.

u only measure your ro/di water before you add salt or add it to your tank. trying to measure your tanks water with salt in it won't work if will give you off the chart levels cause of the salt mix...

"Ahh- Ha!" said the idiot. Wow, im not sure i want to respond. I feel stupid for even asking? Sorry and THANK YOU for your help again. db

Not a stupid question at all. Somewhere, there's a scale that will tell you the TDS for saltwater, but most TDS testers don't go that high, it turns out.
