Quiet One pumps

Anyone use them? I have a maxijet utility pump that has a partially broken impeller (still works but rattles). A new impeller is $50, but a new Quiet One 3000 is only $70.

Are they truly quiet? I am thinking of buying one and just using the maxijet to mix water.

After a few days mine became very quiet, just a light ambient hum if you put your head in the cabinet.

I have been running two 4000's for about 4 years now without an issue. Very quiet, I would definently buy them again. - Mark

How about Sicce Syncra pumps? They will fit for me... I'd bite on the Tunze 1073.020, but after 5 feet of head loss that supposedly leaves only about 150gph wheres a Syncra 2.0 would have over 300

I have had two of the 4000's for almost 5 years, one for mixing and one for my return. I have since upgraded to a mag 12 for my return just for more flow.
Both of these pumps have required minimal maintenance such as a vinegar bag and manual scrub occasionally but have otherwise worked flawlessly, and if positioned upright, silently. I am not sure if they are pro models or not.
