R/O system?

Ok didn't want to high jack Rogers post so I started a new one. I have a 4 stage ro system and its time to replace the filters, So I was thing about adding a duel canister for duel DI. My question is how and what filters do I get now? I will need 3 now. Also is it worth it? I know more is better BUT is it really worth it? Now to the second part. My city water pressure is around 50 to 55 psi. According to psi gauge on the ro system. Do I need a booster pump? Now to the third part. Is it worth adding a second membrane?

Thanks
Matt

again, just an opinion :)

Email Spectrapure. Hands down, they 1) know what their talking about, 2) will tell it like it is and 3) have the best product out there. In the bigger scheme, it is not much more than the others but they are one of the experts in my opinion. Or call them, they are very good with tech support.

1micron or less sediment filter
.5micron quality carbon block
Chlorimine carbon block from FAOIS
Dual membranes if you want to increase production water and decrease waste water.
Booster pump if you want to further increase production water and decrease waste water or when the input pressure is below 60psi

Are dual membranes or booster pump or both necessary? Nope but you can easily fill up your RO containers much faster and use up less water at the same time further saving you money on both filters and monthly water bills.

Adding dual DI cartridges gives you more insurance the water is as pure as can be. Only one is needed but two is better just toss the first cartridge and swap the last one into the first one when TDs reads higher than 001 after the first DI cartridge and put a new cartridge on the last one.

pedro well said.

Matt. I will be selling my unit soon. I could separate the second DI chamber I was running and you could add it to your system. its easy to do. most of what I did was one of those I have always wanted one and not really needed. most of it was over kill and more then what was needed.
