Rabbit Fish fin rot help

Hello everyone,
I have a believe to be two bar rabbit fish. I think it has fin rot and took some pics to fish store they confirmed it was. The fish has been through two treatments of kanaplex but I don't think its getting better what do you guys think?

Looks pretty emaciated. Can you get some protein into it?

Ya I been feeding him a bit more since I put him in the QT. Its frozen food I will post the name when I get home.

I would bet that if you keep the quarantine tank really clean with large daily water changes and feed him well with nori and animal protein, all that will go away.

So I been giving him Emerald Entree about 25% the cube a day. I had some nori in there but didn't seem to go after it I will try again in the morning. Since I was giving him antibiotics didn't know if I should do water changes since I'm just dosing the water.

Personally I've never had much luck dosing a tank with antibiotics. It always seemed like a shot in the dark, never really knowing exactly what I was treating. I've had better luck with good nutrition and clean environment. If you fatten him up he will have the resources to heal the caudal fin. shotgun antibiotics for me always caused more problems then they solved with the micro-environment of the tank. The emerald entree should work well. Try feeding three or four times a day since they are habitual grazers.
