Hello all from Spain. My name is Moe and I think is time to introduce my reef to all, I think by now it´s getting stabilized, and corals are coloring up since I changed the tubes. I hope you enjoy it as I do.

Lets get busy...

Main Tank: 126cmx78cmx60cm 10mm extra clear glass, clear silicone.
Water movement: 2x Tunze 6095 + 7095 controller
Rock: All dead rock on the display tank + fiji premium on the sump
Sand: 3 or 4 cms of Ocean´s Nature live sand
Lighting: 10x54w Ati PowerModule (5 superblue kz, 2 fiji purple kz, 1 Ati coral pluz, and 2 Arcadia reefblue.) yes I love blue!
Sump: 100cmx60cmx40cm 10mm regular glass with white back painting.
Skimmer: Bubble King mini180
Media Reactors: Only Calcium Reactor, for the carbon I use a net.
Refugium: 60cmx35cmx40cm lit with 2 tmc aquaray 1000hd (lots of chaeto inside)
Return pump: Reefset 10000

Allright, now you know the equipment, lets get to work!
At the begining this tank was only going to run softies and lps but you know once you had a full sps tank... you always come back.

this is the place my wife picked for the main display tank and guess what... I loved it!!

so lets get to work and full of dust!

this is how it ended out, you can see a cleaning hand to the right...

a little painting and a friend built the stand for me, you can see the lamp already hanging on it´s place...

after all this we had to take a brake and have some beers with some fried sulcatas... (a.sulcata)

then we built the refugium stand and solder it to the main one.

here you can see it already in it´s place

this will iluminate the refugium

And there you have the rock work!!

At the begining I was going to use Aquaroche to build a wall with and arch, but ended up no liking it, and changed to this wich I love.

here is the refugium allready doing it´s job...

my diy overflow grill, hope you like it...

And after the normaly algae issue, it starts to look better

Thanks Amigos! The reef is looking way better know, I don´t really do water changes since I notice it´s stabilized. I do it around once a month. The acros are growing like crazy, and little by little it´s getting so colorfull.

that´s about 3 months ago

The pictures are a little blue, I only run 1 coral plus out of 10 tubes, here goes the combo:

5 superblue kz
1 fiji purple kz
1 fiji purple ATI
1 Coral plus Ati
2 blue/purple Arcadia

soon I´ll chage one superblue with a Coral plus to make the right zone a little lighter.

Of course! At the begining I used Thera p, Special Blend and Nite out to start up the system, now I dont use any of that, I think the main thing is the refugium, Now it´s full of a thick chaeto and some mangrooves.
I have a siporax chamber and many live rock on the sump. I feed Easybooster everyday with a doser, this is a mix of live fito that just came out on the spanish market, a friend of mine is the developer and I used it from the begining, the sump is full of sponges and sea fans, is incredible how they grow as I add more fito day after day. Later on today I´ll show some pictures of the sump.

Wow, fantastic progression, love the look of the tank. Do you feed anything specifically to the gorgorians? They look really healthy and add a lot to your tank IMO.
