How high is the Radion hanging above the water surface?
6" on a 28g cube.

I think the problem on the price is on larger tanks when you need multiple units. It really does make sense for smaller tanks though.
This tank looks amazing! Have you seen a good amount of color and growth with the Radion units?
Thanks!
Honestly my color was always good under the PC's I had before. I have noticed some darker colors have lightened up to more attractive shades and the LED definitely makes the flourescents pop more.
As for growth, yes, that has literally exploded. Some colonies that I had for 6-mo under PC and only showed slow growth have doubled in size in the 3-mo I've had the Radion, I was both shocked and impressed.
how did you acclimate your corals to the RADION? did you start off at a low percentage of brightness?
what brightness is the fixture at now?
btw, lookin good!![]()
very nice! What intensity is your Radion set at?
very nice.. i love those radions..
id like to know your water parameters, dosing, salt, ect. its not easy in a 28g all in 1 tank. i know from experience. i had a hard time keeping sps's in my jbj nano. granted it was my first tank and made a ton of mistakes.
i wanted to go with radions for my 6ft 125g but it was a little to pricey for 4 units.
good #'s. my biggest mistake was using a calcium reactor on my 28. i didnt know how to set it properly and alk got up to 16. fryed all my sps. they never recovered.
those bubble magus dosers are great. i have 1 too.
what method are u using to keep nitrates down? 5g w/c's enough?
have u testing the alk on that salt mix?
so your not using the internal filter that came with the jbj.
no skimmer? ooops just realized that the aquamax was a skimmer..lol
