Radion Powered SPS Nanocube

I was thinking about either two radions or one 400 watt mh. Do u happen to haw any pictures of your red or pink coral?

Ange, do you have any close ups of your Borealis and I was wondering where you positioned it. Searched through both your threads and could not find one.

I'll add that to my macro list tandldel, I haven't had much luck getting a picture of it yet because of its location, I think I'll have to buy/make a viewing box to get topdowns of it.

Alright, I don't have much red/pink in my tank, so I had to concentrate on a couple of pieces. Tandldel, sorry, that borealis is impossible to capture correctly in my tank until I get a method of topdown macro's...

Hope that helps, reds/pinks/oranges really do show under the Radion well. Again, still not as well as some T5 bulb combos that I have seen, but impressive for LED.

Beautiful tank!!!! If I were to pick what to get rid of... it would be the calm you have in upper-left rock work. I'm a big fan of clams, but they are calcium hogs!!!!! I know you dose but while the SPS get bigger their going to need more of those minerals, that the clams are going to be sucking up.

Wow very nice. The Radion is sweet. A LFS has one on a Elos mini and it has made a huge difference in the sps in it from the old LED that was on it. You should really get rid of that macro algae before it get out of control.

Thanks, but the crocea isn't an option for me! I love my patch of clams. Though, that derasa grows way too fast for a nano, so it'll soon find a new home and be replaced with an ultra green maxi and a black/gold maxi if I can find one. I've got the bali deepwater light acclimating in the tank now, just need to find where to put it!!

Thanks for the comments! I've probably heard to get rid of that macro 100 times since I started the tank, but for me it was never a problem. It was simple to prune and helped with nutrient export before I started running GFO (it was in the tank for ~9-mo). After the GFO it pretty much died out, and I pulled the remainder out months ago to make more room. :)

Photo update it's overdue, should have an FTS up today. Managed to snag a quick macro of my Cali tort yesterday though. It's growing very fast and color is still awesome under the LED now for 5-mo.

Nice tank! That excellent growth with this light. Are there different optics options? If so what do you have?

EcoTech is only currently offering one option for optics and color, but plan to introduce more in the future as bolt in replacements.

Wow tank looks great ange....so much growth

BTW that clownfish on the left has the sickest pattern ive ever seen....congrats

Thanks hype! I've been honestly surprised how much growth I'm getting under the Radion, even some of my "supposedly" slow growing pieces like the tort and ORA borealis have really taken off.

And that's my SA Fancy Snow, when I saw the question mark pattern and bright orange color I knew I had to have the pair:
