Radion randomly beeping

Why does my radion gen 2 randomly beep like someone is pushing the buttons on it?

Had this happen to me once, reprogrammed and the issue went away.

It could be interference if your using a non ecotech hanging/mounting method. It started happening to me after a few months. Easy fix, turn the buttons off in the ESL software.

If you don't use the buttons on your Radion, I would recommend disabling them. This can be done through EcoSmart Live.

Hey Alex, I was looking on ecosmartlive but it didn't see the option to disable the buttons. Can you tell me how to do that? Thanks

d-maz, look to the left where you radions are listed. Under each one there is a wrench icon. Click the wrench icon which will open up a list of items. Bottom item is a check box for enabling the buttons. Make sure it is UNCHECKED.

Same here, if the capacitive buttons are slightly dusty they will start to change modes. Although cool and cutting edge, the buttons are disabled because of that reason.
