I updated my Radion Par graph to include the new TIR Lenses. Measured with all leds on at 100%. They do increase the Par numbers. We will see how the corals respond.

Thanks for posting this! Those are some impressive numbers. I have a few questions.

How long have you been running the TIR lenses?

I watched the YouTube clip showing how to change the lenses. Did you find it was easy or a big risk to change them?

Any idea why there are spots for additional LED's?

My understanding is that the lenses simply focus light in more of a straight line. If that's the case I would expect the middle PAR results to be reduced. Am I missing something?

Interesting... do you currently run yours at 100%? I haven't gotten above 50% (without TIR) and already have burned out a chalice.

How long have you been running the TIR lenses? One day, It came out yesterday.

I watched the YouTube clip showing how to change the lenses. Did you find it was easy or a big risk to change them? Nope, it was not that difficult.

Any idea why there are spots for additional LED's? I am guessing they are planning ahead.

How long have you had your radion I have been debating about this for a while and now that the Vegas are coming out I am in more of a debate. With theses lens are they better colors or just more penetration.

I have had my Radions since November. I am constantly cutting and altering my tank so I don't have any killer growth pictures. I have cut my Green Slimer and Birdsnest a few times along with my Maxi Anemones. I have good color but the lens is about the PAR penetration.

I have a 120w LED Evolution and 3 par38's over my 40br frag tank & the two radions over the 4x2x2.

On the main tank I went from the 250w MH to the Radions.

Here are some pictures of the Corals I have in the radion tank. Most are frags or have come from frags. Leds do take crappy pictures but here is my attempt.

Birdsnest- This started as a small 1 inch frag and has grown a lot and has been clipped a few times. I am trying not to mess with it anymore.

Tubs Stellata in the middle (loves the Radions). I have three pieces in various tanks and I can't wait to see them when they become colonies and the Bonsai on the left is doing well.
