hello everyone, i'm new here. Have actually visited and have gotten very helpful info off this site before but I finally decided to join. anyways I have a 90 gallon standard (48x18x24)mixed reef tank. I was running 2 xr15w pro before for lighting but I wasn't happy with them. Too small for my tank and was having shadowing issues and what not. I took the plunge an got 2 xr30w pro g4. these lights are bright and cover the tank nicely. they are currently hooked up to reeflink. I was wondering if someone that's had experiences with any previous radions with a tank my size can help me with a schedule. most of my acros are higher up in the tank with some being just 5 inches below the water line and the lights are about 9 inches above the surface of the water. The lps are lower in the tank, hammer, frogspawn, torch, and acans and the softies are basically the lowest in the tank. if anyone could tell me get an good all around (all around meaning good color and growth especially for sps)schedule for these lights. like what kelvin throughout the day, what brightness or intensity, length of the time the lights should be on. these lights are powerful and I don't want to fry my corals. I know every tank is different and I am not carbon dosing so its not a low nutrient system. any advice is greatly appreciated!

Corals need the blues for health and growth, the rest is really for you.

Start low intensity, like 30% and increase it slowly each week.

Balance give white to your liking. Add reds/greens if needed.

Set a peak of no less than 4 hours, no more than 7. Before and after that the lights just need to illuminate your tank for viewing. An hour ramp up and down is sufficient.

I don't have Radions but LEDs work in the same fasion

The AB+ and Radiant color schedules are both great. I used the radiant setting when I ran radions and loved the color that it pulled out of my corals. Just set it at 30% like bif24701 said and turn it up 5% every two weeks. Mine ran at 55% intensity hung at 9 inches above the water. My sps were about 8-10 below water level. Hope this helps. Just don't mess with it after you set it up or you will never let the corals adjust to it.

i have g4 radions, my acros are 12 inches below surface, lights are 9 inches above, i was running at 45% sps a+b but have been turning the lights down, i am now running at 30% and the corals are coloring up more with less light intensity, btw i also use t5s as supplement, good luck zsu. btw i have also used the radiance schedule with good results aswell

I have 2 gen 4 pro also currently running ab+ schedule at 90%. Lights are in a 8 lamp tek fixture with 2 blue+ and 2 coral+ t5, 7 inches off the water and corals are 15 inches below water surface. Might bump the radions up even higher this week. Maybe 94%
