Rae, if your other RBTA is doing well, then obviously your current loss was idiopathic. If there was something wrong with your system for an RBTA, both would have perished.

Hang tough, lady! I know you've got more to contribute and experience with this hobby.

Wow, thank you everyone on the split. I just got home from the gym, car wash, and LFS, where I figured I was allowed to buy what ever I wanted.....so I got a 25 lb rock for the tank. I figured if I am going to upgrade someday, I will need more and more rock, so I may as well start now. I am glad I did get the rock, (which is "dead" but cured and ready to drop in the water after a nice rinse), because when I did get home, my column was on it's side leaning against the acrylic!!! UGH!!! This day, I know, can get worse, but REALLY!!! So, now I am rescaping today. Not what I wanted t do.

So again,thank you all for visiting on my thread, and for all of the wonderful advice you have given to me, and others who have stopped by. I hope you all will continue to post on this thread with all of your pictures of tanks, family, pets, plants, ect....whatever makes you all happy.

You guys ROCK!

Rae - A lot of happened since last night and I'm sorry to hear you loss the RBTA. It's hard when you lose something you cherish, but knowing your passion, you should be able to bounce back.

Here's my puppy last year. Hope these cheers you up until Scott post his.

Super cute! I'm a "big dog" girl, I like to wrestle and play rough with my pups. I fear that I would step on one of those little small breed dogs and break it. I'll never pass up the chance to canoodle with any kind of dog, though!

congrats on the split raen, well done, ive just asked my little girl Katie to find some pics of her puppy Poppie, if i can work out how to post them i will ok i understand your loss but thought a pic like the last 1 of a puppy might actually cheer you up, yes ive been reading your thread good luck with the tank
